How do you attract fairies?
The best time to attract fairies is when there is a full moon. This is a very magical time.
Build a fairy house out of sweet-smelling flowers. Sunflowers, Tulips and Nasturtiums are all fairy favourites, and are likely to draw them near. Fruits, such as strawberries will provide them with food. To make fairies feel welcome, always leave tiny cuips of water inside the house.
The best possible way of attracking house fairies is to keep everything clean! Untidy bedrooms will have these fairies scooting out off into the night, and dust and dirt will only attract bad fairies. Leave tiny portions of honey, cake and milk on your window sill.
Another way to attract fairies, is to create a fairy house and leave some milk droppings and bread crumbs outside the fairy house. You can even write a letter to the fairies and depending what fairy reads your letter they will either eat and drink the milk droppings and bread crumbs, send you a letter back, or if you very lucky, even send you a letter and eat and drink the milk and bread!

Building a fairy house
Gather together natural materials from your garden at home. Twigs, feathers, pine cones, leaves, sticks, stone and wood would make perfect building materials. Make sure that you don't pick anything still living, or break any brances. Fairies get very crossed if you destroy nature's treasures!
Find a tree, rock or wall which you can stack sticks against to amke a shelter, and then cover it up with leaves or bark. Stones or shells can be used to make a path for the fairies to walk through. to invite the fairies in, leave a thimble or acorn full of water and perhaps a tiny piece of cake.
